after a performance, where I do not play a robot

Playwright of a show I produced in Detroit (to me): Where's the woman who played Cora? She was incredible...

Me: I'm right here.

Playwright: OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS???

The role I played had me on stage for maybe 8 minutes in a 2.5 hour play...it was 'small' but 'big'... greatest compliment I've ever received-at least I know I wasn't up there playing myself. LOL
